Fruits and Vegetables By Season
WINTER/FALL
In the winter people like to make soups and pies.
Popular ingredients include:
APPLES
BANANAS
BROCCOLI
CARROTS
ONIONS
ORANGES
POTATOES
People might also buy some of the "summer fruits and veggies", but they are usually higher in price, and won't taste as good.
SUMMER/SPRING
In the summer people prefer refreshing fruit or vegetable salads and shakes.
Popular ingredients include:
CUCUMBERS
GRAPES
MANGO
STRAWBERRIES
TOMATOES
WATERMELON
While these are seasonal and usually taste better in the warmer months, the "winter fruits and veges" are usually good all year round. They typically do not go up in price during the summer.
